For as much as I know that Black people and Black women are natural born storytellers, there are far too many stories we take to our graves. While I'm not one of those people who believe that we need to share everything with everybody, I believe there is power and purpose in sharing our stories. They can inspire, encourage, teach and most importantly help people feel like they're not alone in their experiences and feelings.
